Apple is pushing the iPhone lineup back into the holiday season, with two new iPhones to be announced and more expected from its next iPhone lineup, according to a source familiar with the matter.
The company has already announced a new iPad Pro, a new iPhone 7, and an iPhone X that’s said to feature OLED displays and a bigger battery.
The new iPhones will be released on September 30, with a new model slated to be released in the second half of the year.
The company will likely launch a new Apple TV with a more premium package than the Apple TV 3.
The iPhone X, the company’s first major smartphone model, will be announced on September 27, the source said.
The new iPhones are expected to launch alongside a new TV, according the source.
The two new iPhone models will feature a 4.7-inch OLED display, a larger battery, a taller display and a larger display area, according a source with knowledge of the matter, who asked not to be named because the information is confidential.
Apple has long been rumored to be planning a new version of its iPhone lineup.
Earlier this month, the iPhone 8 was rumored to feature a 12.9-inch display and be the first smartphone with a 12-megapixel camera.
Apple previously launched a new iPhones model in 2016 that sported a 12 megapixel camera, a curved display, and a slightly curved display.
It’s not clear how much of that new iPhone 8 screen size will be curved.
